The inaugural meeting was held in Peppermint Grove Beach on 23 January 2018. The meeting resolved to create an incorporated, Not-for-profit organisation with the name 'Ludlow Tuart Forest Restoration Group'.

On 26 February 2018, a public meeting was held at the Capel Country Club to inform the community of our aims and for the purpose of gaining public support and membership. A subsequent public meeting was held on 11 April 2018 in Busselton. 

The Ludlow Tuart Forest Restoration Group was officially incorporated on 14 March 2018 - Registration number A1024024R and ABN 16 979 225 751. We are registered for GST and as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). We have been approved as a Deductible gift recipient.
