Artwork number: 16
Artist: Michele Bentink
Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Description: As I walked along the road alongside the forest, I felt like the trees close to me were inviting me to cross over the grassy open area to explore the bushland and enjoy the peace.
Artist statement: I began painting in 2022 when I joined the Capel Art Group. I have been exploring using acrylics with different styles, techniques and on different surfaces. I try to capture beauty I see on my phone camera and then paint it. I have previously sold two paintings at the Ludlow Art shows, 2025 and 'One Tree'
