Description: While the others swam in the clear water at Silica Beach North of Derby, I was far more interested in the resilient vegetation and rocks.
Artist statement: We anchored just off Silica Beach north of Derby and came ashore by dinghy.
While the others swam in the clear water, I was far more interested in the vegetation and rocks at the back of the beach and spent time observing the different rocks and the resilient shrubs and grasses, and animal footprints.
