123. Canal Rocks

Artwork number: 123
Artist: Tasmin Prince
Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Description: This painting is created with acrylic paint on canvas with an added modeling medium to create a texture and volume to the paint. I created this painting because Canal Rocks is a place that is special to me and many others before me. Whenever I go to Canal Rocks I can feel the ancient power of the water and wind and the grounding of the rocks. I believe that places in nature hold memories and in this place, those moments are carved into stone. This place has seen many moments in my life, serving as a background to my childhood and a staple of my future.
