Artwork number: 138
Artist: Karen Seaman
Medium: Oil on Canvas
Description: I have painted a storm approaching a valley to the south of Busselton as the shadows overtake sun on the pastures.
Artist statement: I paint the landscapes around me, exploring space and atmosphere. I describe moments of time when the sky and country are transformed by light. I work in oils, using many layers of colour to build atmospheric tension. I want you to feel the anticipation of a storm looming.
