Artist statement: Whale Song--a hauntingly beautiful tribute to the giants of the deep and the seafaring pioneers who braved the wild Western Australian coast.
Emerging like the weathered remnants of a leviathan this sculpture transforms into an open-air temple of light and shadow--a beautiful ode that honours the terrifying grit of the pioneers while deeply mourning and celebrating the magnificent spirits that have traversed these coastal currents for centuries.
