Castle Rock's rugged profile meets turquoise water and a pristine shore -- a perfect clash of strength and calm
Artist statement: As a south west artist, I draw constant inspiration from the beauty of our region. My wife Josie and I often explore the coastline, rural landscapes, and pristine natural settings that feature strongly in my seascapes and landscapes.
I keep my en plein air kit close, ready for those moments when an unexpected scene invites me to paint. Working outdoors--responding to the weather, the light, and the changing elements--brings a unique challenge and joy to capturing the environment before me.
My artwork also includes still life and portraiture. I enjoy exploring different mediums to continually refine my skills, techniques, and artistic expression. I'm thankful that my art keeps me grounded through life's ups and down.
