Artist statement: I've always loved the coastline. I used to swim a lot but as I've grown older, my confidence in the water has wavered. Now days I prefer to remain solidly on the shoreline exploring the deep nooks and crannies of the boulders and admiring the tenacity of the plants and trees that survive there.
