FAQ

Q: I live in Sydney. Can I buy my own canvas?
A: Yes, however our strong preference is that you buy a CreateART canvas from a local supplier. See the stockists and specifications here

Q: Can I submit a painting of a dead tree?
A: Absolutely. Just need the GPS coordinates.

Q: Can my artwork be an abstract painting?
A: Yes, so long as it is based on the existing tree.

Q: How can I get GPS coordinates for my tree?
A: Use Google Maps to quickly obtain GPS coordinates for any landmark. Search for the landmark, then right-click (desktop) or long-press (mobile) on the exact spot to reveal the latitude and longitude.

Q: Do I need to have visited the tree?
A: No, It could be a photograph sent to you by a friend with coordinates, or a tree, clearly identified in any media. It must be a tree that can be visited, hence the requirement for valid coordinates.

Q: Will the Ludlow Cafe be open during the exhibition?
A: Of course! and funds raised will go to the arboretum.
